My instrument cluster LCD screen is not working. I found a nice tutorial/video on how to replace the screen, but unfortunately, still did not work after replacing just the screen. (link to tutorial)

I saw several second hand instrument clusters on ebay for relatively cheap ~$150 compared to what my shop quoted me ~$1500. Has anyone had to replace theirs and if so, will a 2nd hand one work plug and play without programming?

 

No. Must be coded to the vehicle.
