I would never change any part based on a Generic Diagnose, Fault codes like "Pxxx" is named "generic" meaningless if you consider a repair. Mercedes offers Fault Codes like Pxxx-xx, more precise and very easy to interpret.

This is to help anyone with the same problem:
Code P1402 is gone. Car is out of limp mode.
Code P1408 is still there. I wonder if the EGR needs time to work with the new sensor before this is cleared? Or, the EGR may be having issues itself and needs repaired or replaced? At this point I don't care as long as no limp mode and fuel consumption is normal.
I also replaced the oil separator which is worth it since old hose and valve were dumping a lot of oil in the turbo and outside area.
I will come back and update this if anything related happens.
I also still have codes P0101 & P1101. Car Scan also shows O2S1 off.
Any ideas where is that sensor located? My car ha a lot of oil leak so it's not easy to dive underneath it. I try to pin point a problem and dive into the oil! That's another issue I would love to address at one point. It's hard to tell where it's coming from.
