I am trying to remove the windshield cowl, MB part, 2518300028. The rubber rings around the wipers are stiffened and broken due to the sun, California car. I can move it side to side, but cannot pull it down. I assume I am missing the clips somewhere, but I can't see where. I figure if I force it I will break the windshield and this cowl. Please help.
Below is the part on my R350, and below that is one I found on eBay. I studied the eBay part carefully, but still can't see the clips that I am missing.
