Re-Calibrating Level Setting of Rear Air Springs
The R air spring was leaking so I replaced it with a Dunlop brand unit. But, once installed I noticed that the ride height was lower than before (like 2 inches). But, L and R were same height. I used my diagnosis tool to raise the rear springs. Basically from a value of 2.2 to 2.7 (the factory range is 2.2-3.0). The car looked right. However, when I turned on the car, the springs lowered to the 2.2 setting.
So I entered the calibration mode and entered 2.7 value for the height and it asked me for the inclination angle (~4.2. to ~4.9 degree factory range). The tool tells me to get this value from Romess tool, which I do (and won't buy).
I didn't want to just make up a number so here I am. What are my choices? Thanks!
