Where did you see the pictures? German Car Fans forum has some comparisons and the site itself has several articles on both models.

The first 3 images are the B Class.
The last 3 images are the R Class
The differences are obvious in size and style.

thanks a lot. looks like the b class is a littl ebit bigger than the current A class.
do you really love the R class? I like it only because it looks similar to my hatchback. I wish the R was a coupe though. would've looked more cool.
btw it looks similar to a toyota mini van I'm not sure what they call it. I googled it but couldn't find any pics. It might not be sold in the US?

I think the R Class is much lower than a minivan and will not have those lines when we see it in person. This is a big car, about 200" overall.
If you have not been to the MBUSA R Class site take a look. Just click on the R Class Vision R logo on the opening page. Some history and click on the Paris show to see some actual shots of the real car (European Version). I think this once introduced and hyped by MB is going to be a big seller.
