Parts availability and long-term viability
Could I expect that the necessary mechanical, service, trim, etc. bits necessary to keep the thing on the road for the long term will continue to be available? Does anyone have a breakdown as to how many of the bits are unique to the R63?
I've got no direct experience with MB product, but I've dealt with a variety of other makes from BMW (generally quite good) to Ford (if it's anything out of the ordinary you'll be lucky to score a power steering hose after five or six years.)
