Just had my R63 treated to some paintwork to take care of some paint chipping in the bumper etc, followed by a ceramic coat, and front protection film application, and a detailing — looks amazing. Previously, I had the calipers painted a nice gray which matches some AMG's from the factory. I discovered a few years ago that this is the only Capri Blue with tan interior R63, and so having put 35K very enjoyable miles on it, I decided it's time to put her in storage. Was going to sell it, but decided to go this route instead — put it in near perfect shape, and storage except for very occasional use. Who knows, might be of some interest in a car show, so I might look into doing that for some fun and to get it out. Might get plates that say 1OF1AMG. Anyway, thought I'd post the pics.
I had my R63 Ceramic Coated a few months ago as well. Great product!
Remember to move the passenger seat forward as the battery is under the seat! If you need to access it in the future with a flat battery, I’ve heard it is very difficult with the seat in the regular position.
