After a couple weeks of dealing on two R63 which were available at the same time in Canada. I picked up a Pewter on Black with 136,000kms(85k miles).

I haven't had time to do any cleaning or polishing but this is in ridiculous shape, which blows my mind for a 13 year old vehicle! Then I got to thinking lastnight at a car show, you HAD to be a enthusiast to buy this in the first place, and even the second owner had to know he had to have something special.

Carfax shows a few little front bumper fixes and a rear bumper but the are all around 3-5,000 so minor.

I'm excited to do some polishing and ceramic coating and get this thing shining.

Congratulations! It looks gorgeous! I looked at that one several times online, but with it being outside the EU (I live in France), I would have had to pay a 32% import tax, in addition to shipping. Glad someone got it who appreciates it for what it is. Fortunately for me, I have found one here in Europe that I should be picking up in a few weeks. I love the wood trim on yours. Unfortunately (in my personal, subjective opinion) for me, mine comes with the aluminum/black plastic trim. I'll be looking for a wood trim package to install in mine.

Thanks for sharing the photos. It already looks like it shines. Before you do the ceramic coating, you might want to see about getting the AMG 6.3 badges that go on the front fenders just in front of the front doors. I'm guessing that these weren't replaced when they did some of the body work on the car. You can find them on e-bay, but I'm not sure if they are OEM or not.
