I'm needing Mercedes parts numbers for the rear left shock absorber (NOT the air cushion) and for the hose that connects the motor to the oil radiator on the front left side.
Apparently the parts are not currently available from Mercedes here in France, so I'm trying to find the part numbers so I can do an internet search. The local Mercedes dealer doesn't like to give out part numbers, even when parts aren't immediately available.
Also, if anyone knows who made the shocks for Mercedes, that might help.
I found the part number for the rear strut in a post from @rbtmak from January 2022. Thanks. And oemvehicleparts.com seems to still have them in stock.
I still need to find the hose that connects the engine to the oil cooler radiator. Below is a photo of part of this hose. It begins with metal tubing that connects to the engine. This is followed by rubber tubing that is crimped on with the markings 01/06 - 21 >AEM/AEM<. This is followed by a section of braided hose (this is where the problem seems to be - it appears that the braided section is oozing oil which is then being blown over the bottom of the car). this is followed by another section of rubber tubing and I suppose that it ends with metal tubing connecting to the oil cooler radiator (I couldn't see that part of the hose).
Thanks, @rbtmak. I did look at those when I looked at the rear strut on their site, but my mechanic said that it is a hose from the engine, not the transmission, and it is more of a U shape (It comes down, goes across, then goes back up). But I'm grateful for the suggestion.
