Pristine CL600 $20,000

Zimmmotors
hello everyone, I am the one who bought this CL600 on ebay.
In the process of getting a loan, I did some googles while waiting for approval from Capital One. I was shocked to find out the dealer selling this car was being flamed for defrauding several individuals.

In a way Im happy I caught this before I sent him money but in a way Im upset that Im not able to take delivery of the car. I am wondering if there are any other fellow MBWorld members down in Miami who wouldnt mind taking a look at the car for me. I know I will probably get flamed myself for even thinking of stil buying the car even after discovering this guy is a scammer, conartist, but its just that these CL600s are so rare and this one seems to be in such mint condition.
Could it be that this car is actually a good clean car? It does have a clean Carfax, and doesnt seem to have any issues in the pictures.
My question is should I order a PPI from a local MB indy shop OR just skip this car altogether?

Congratulations! I posted the link because that W140 CL600 was the cleanest I've seen for sale. Just be sure to have it checked out by and independent MB mechanic prior to finalizing the sale.

Ok, let me give you all a little lesson here about dealers like Zimm Motors.
Small, crappy dealers like them only get "good" cars like this because they have usually been wrecked and no reputable dealer will take it.
"But it has a clean carfax" you say? That's cute. There are auctions out there for cars that are wrecked and have clean carfaxes. Entire auction events full of nothing but wrecked cars with clean carfaxes.
The problem is, that real dealerships want nothing to do with these cars, and they don't even go to these auctions. Too much liability. They also can tell these rebuilt cars without even looking it up in Carfax. So even if a "clean" one comes in, they know immediately what the story is just by inspecting it.
Why is this the cleanest S-coupe you have ever seen? Because it was probably put together a couple of months ago after a big wreck. Way back when I was younger I went to Zimm Motors lot to look at a 325is they had for sale. the thing was an obvious piece of crap in person, but they still wanted top dollar for it.
Under no circumstances should you purchase that car. I bet I could get under it and show you exacly where they put it back together.
Check out the "video" just for giggles. lame:
