I'm a newbie to this site so please let me know if my question has already beeen addressed. I have a 2004 CLK 320 with the phone cradle with a bluetooth adapter in the armrest. In the lower space beneath the phone compartment is a sliding switch on the driver's side (just ahead of the light. Anyone know what this switch is for? Also there appears to be some sort of small tray at the front of the compartment close to the bottom that when its pushed forward it clicks and moves backward into the compartment. Any one know what this thing is?

My owners manual says nothing about either.

are you talking about the buttons on the bluetooth adapter? theres 2 on there. 1 is to remove the adapter off the cradle and the other is to connect your phone to the cradle.
