Newbie- Buying advice- S600 Coupe 1996/7
A friend of mine is selling his S600 Coupe and has given me first refusal. We both have a number of classics and he has been told by his wife that this one has to go (just bought himself another car for his collection and daily drive). The car has a wonderful history file, meticulously cared for, full service history, everything works as it should, 139,000 on the clock. Body work has one rust blemish on the wing about 2 inches of bubbling but that is about it. The problem we have is the price and we are not sure where to start our negotiations. He is looking for a fair price for the car and wants it to go to a good home. We can't seem to find the right price range for an S600 Coupe in this condition. Just wondered if anyone out there can help. I love the car but don't want my heart to rule my head on this one.
