1997 S600 CPE problem Please Help

Hi I'm trying to restore my s600 slowly but surely, I was trying to figure out if 97s have Egas modules or what controls the throttle bodies on later w140s I was told it wouldn't scan properly. I believed it to be a bad egas module but I cant find any info on years after 1995 I just want to get it whatever ecu rebuilt so I can get it scanned replace the bad coils and i also think they said something was wrong with a throttle body but the car is currently not scannable so I need to get it fixed Please help me get some insight into which module it is so I can locate it and see if ebay rebuild services will fix it. Thanks, Gabe

Best source for the Egan and throttle body repair is Victor from Restore your Mercedes he has a lot of videos up and is quite knowledgeable on the W140

I just aquired all five modules from the coffin for your vehicle. Let me know if you still need one or 2, and I'll shoot you the numbers to compare
