An elderly family member used to use my mirror to help them walk between 2 cars ... so it served a good purpose.
The result is that the driver's side mirror is bent downward with the housing bent away from the car.
I tried to push the housing/mirror back up towards the mount point (the screws are tight, that's not the issue) but it pushes back down, so it really feels like something is bent.
The housing is fine and I already plan to replace the rubber seal/gasket which I've mostly pulled out.
