Order placed for S 550 Cabriolet- What is yellow status?
Just ordered a 2017 S 550 Cabriolet thru Flagship Motors in Lynnfield ,
which is the dealer I have used for years and they were great. They just called and told me the status went from green to yellow and should be produced shortly. A bit under the gun as I would like to use the car when it is still warm out in New England.
What is yellow status exactly and how does that equate to a delivery time ??????????????????

I did , they said ( yellow ) indicates only minor changes could be made but were non committal on actual next sequence and time frame for production and delivery. Any feedback is helpful

Hi Ralph,
Mine (S63 Cab) is set for a production date of mid-June with an August 9th European Delivery. It was on yellow status until April 15th. My best guess is that yellow becomes red about 8 weeks before production.
To that you'll have to add transportation time. My best guess is 8-10 weeks to your dealership from production. I've also been told that adding any "Designo" options adds time.
Hopefully this feedback is helpful.
