I am looking at upgrading from my trusty '05 CL55 to a 2015 S-Coupe. I'm looking at a nice one with low miles but the car was exported to the UK then back here. I am wondering if there could be any issues from any mods that were done across the Atlantic?

I have learned that the only mods they do over there is in regards to lights....

Do any of you out there have any specific knowledge in this area? Or know where I can learn more?

I have heard there is or was (after Katrina) a scam where a salvaged car could be exported then brought back in to clear the salvage label...

I drove the car in question. Everything appears legit and works. However I will probably buy a somewhat cleaner conditioned '15 instead....

Would you mind sharing the specs, mileage and ask price? I'm thinking about upgrading to a coupe.
