2019 A217 S-Class Cabrio DOG
I am not a dealer, just an MB owner... This Dealer Ordering Guide is the revision dated 5/30/2018 from a friendly dealer, sliced into chunks postable here. The Exclusive Edition is NOT outlined. From what I can tell, no one has the ordering information on the Exclusive Edition yet. I would love for someone to prove me wrong.
The MBUSA press release is detailed, but it's no DOG! https://www.media.mbusa.com/releases...-and-cabriolet
Also, take note that the Heads-Up Display appears to be on global constraint, so they have swizzled the related packages. (Swizzle is an establish auto industry term, right?)

I have that one too, Ron, but it takes some time to split it up to fit across the portal on this forum. It is a rainy day in Texas... I will give it some time...

No exclusive DOG
There may never be a ordering guide that covers the exclusive edition. My understanding is that they are going to make a limited number with specific options and send them to dealers. Might not even be able to get them for European Delivery.

supplier problems
Sounds like a supply limitation and they are prioritizing. They cut demand by taking it out of the package. The ones built for dealer lots may not have it, but I am guessing a special order would.

Friends, you are correct! I posed this question to MB USA:
And I received this prompt and courteous answer:
The Exclusive edition will not be able to be factory ordered since it is an edition, and will therefore be pre-configured and sold at Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
As of now, the Heads-Up display option is still on constraint, and I unfortunately do not have an update time as to when that will become available.
I hope this information was helpful and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
Sincerely,
Jennah

So... "Never mind" on the Exclusive Edition! I think my new strategy is to keep my eyes open for a used (or new) 2018 S-Class Cabriolet that is configured exactly how I want it.
Hello, Regarding the 2019 S-Class Cabriolet EXCLUSIVE EDITION announced on March 5... Will I be able to FACTORY ORDER one of these in my choices of options or will they just be sent pre-configured to dealer showrooms? If I can order one, when will the pricing and Dealer Ordering Guide be released? If I can order one, when do you estimate the Heads-Up Display (now on constraint) will be available again? Thank you!
And I received this prompt and courteous answer:
Thank you for your email to Mercedes-Benz USA!
The 2019 S-Class Cabriolet Exclusive Edition is anticipated to launch fall of 2018. Dealer ordering guide information as well as pricing is not yet available. However, we are also anticipating for that information to become available towards the end of the summer. The Exclusive edition will not be able to be factory ordered since it is an edition, and will therefore be pre-configured and sold at Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
