I want to share my experience of lowering my S 63 coupe.
I have long wanted to lower my suspension but i was afraid of all existing methods, and once I found this offer on Amazon:

Amazon Amazon

The device is super small and compact and plugs into the OBDII port under the dash.

Seller has outstanding customer service. Responded to all my questions really fast. Crazy fas shipping and item as described. I have S63 coupe and was able to custom lower my suspension in a minute. This is so easy and online instructions are straight forward. Can go back to stock suspension values without problems. Car looks so much better and I love lowered handling too. Pictures below show car lowered but I am still adjusting to find better look with not compromised handling at the same time.

what your thoughts about it ?

Lowering Module
My 2016 C217 gets close to scraping the splitter when coming out of driveways with deep gutters and when pulling up to parking spots with wheel stops so I am apprehensive about lowering my car any more than stock. Yours does look nice with the body sitting closer to the wheels though.

Is it still valid to purchase on eBay or amazon? I clicked on couple links and tells me this item is no longer available? Weird huh.. I really want to lower my s63 sedan. I just hope I don’t have any problems with the car in the future electronically or mechanically.

You can go on Instagram and message this guy directly to coordinate the purchase -

or his website is https://mwmods.com/. He has it for your car (as well as other modules). I've used the lowering mod, stage 1 ecu tune, and the mulitbeam led module on my 2020 S560. All work great. The multibeam led module is outstanding btw!

Does anyone knows if the Amazon lowering module is coded to only one car (same VIN) or if it's universal ? Thanks

The description on
Amazon.com Amazon.com
says that the price includes 1 activation. So the module is linked to the VIN number and works only with it. I read somewhere on a forum that the team can unlock it remotely for $300, but can't find that link.

Hi everyone,

I got the mwmods module as well and lowered my S560 L4 (W222). I left it at the default settings, in hopes that it won't sacrifice (too much) comfort or put (too much) strain on the suspension.
Activation was easy and I went according to the instructions provided. I did get an "MB Connect issue" message that persisted an engine restart, but I did a COMAND reset and it went away. No problems afterwards. I opted to go for the default setting (32mm front and rear, about 1.26").

Here's a before:

And the after:

I know the difference isn't very obvious, due to lighting and the slightly different angles, so here are some close ups:

Here's my experience after a test drive:
The "boatness" of the car was severely reduced in Comfort and was pretty much gone in Sport mode. Tried overtaking, accelerating, going on a roundabout etc and it felt handling noticeably better. If I were to reduce the car more I suspect handling might improve, but I don't think I want to go there.

Didn't feel any increased road noise, in theory I don't need to have the wheels aligned, but I might do it anyway. I did feel bumps more, not by much, but still. The car is definitely not as comfortable as it was before I went with the 20" wheels (that also came with RFT tyres) and the now lowered suspension, but since I rarely if ever sit in the back, to me it's worth it. It's still a way better and quiet car compared to most out there and the elimination of the "feels like a rocking boat" feeling is definitely worth it!

Mwmods module
I have a 2019 glc 63 coupe. I’m considering buying the lowering module from mwmods but had a quick question. When the vehicle is lowered 30mm or so, can I still use the button to raise the car? My drive way is crazy and on sport + I can clear. If I lower it 30mm but raise it with the button (I’m assuming it raises 15mm or so) I should be ok. Thanks

I've got the same lowering mod in my 2020 S560 Coupe. I've got the same issue with my driveway when I have it lowered and yes, the factory raise button works to raise it. It's enough for me to clear my driveway entrance/exit!

Yes. All factory buttons and functions retain their work, when lowering by our module not only the ability to raise the car with a button is preserved, but also it should be taken into account that in sport+ the car is lowered by an additional 15mm, and also lowered at speeds above 100kmh.

Out of curiosity, when the car is lowered, does it lose travel in the shock range? Has anyone bottomed out riding low?
