S550 Coupe ride height sport/comfort confusion
Hi all, I'd appreciate some help with this and sorta surprised I could not find the answer searching a bit, but does the Coupe not raise and lower with the suspension button switching from Sport to Comfort? My buddies S550 sedan does, but my car simply does not budge even a fraction. It certainly rises up nicely with the raise height button so I know the airmatic is working. I'm stuck at 28.5" front and 29 3/16" rear in either green or red with the suspension button and/or the throttle/tranny button Any enlightenment appreciated!

I believe the car even in sport will raise and lower as-needed. The only option you have is to raise it up manually and lower it back (i.e. un-raise). Anything lower it does after a certain speed. As far as I know it's worked like that going back to my CL 550.
Sport on == Car raises and lowers itself after it reaches a specific speed
Sport off == Same thing
Air Button = Raises car only
Air Button off = Put car back in auto raise/lower mode

I wonder why the Coupe is different. My manual makes no mention other than it will lower by as much a 15mm at higher speeds. My buddies sedan definitely changes height with Comfort vs Sport just sitting still. Maybe time for lowering-links or a module.
