I was about to replace the brake pads on my CPO '16 S550 coupe due to heavy brake dust. However, I was hesitant (too cheap is another word) because they were just replaced by MB last Oct when I purchased this CPO. Anyway I tried a brake dust repelent that I had heard about several times. It's Armor All "Outlast Brake Dust Repelent". This stuff is unbelievable. I follolwed the directions except I applied a second coat 24 hrs. after the first without driving the car. I've driven now about 500 miles and there is no visable dust. Jud, Based on your recommendation, I tried this stuff and it really works. I was unable to find it in any of my local auto supply stores (no Walmart here) so I had to order it on-line. I put it on about 2 weeks ago and so far minimal dust accumulation. After a wash, I just sprayed another coat on for insurance. Thanks for the tip!
