Navigation Voice Guidance
I have a '16 S Class coupe and am trying to turn off the voice guidance. I don't know how I turned it on but it is providing voice guidance for a 2500 mile trip (yikes). Is there an easy way to cancel it?

I believe I fixed it. I just deleted all destinations and it seems ok with just the ign.on. Haven't driven the car yet.

Deleting the prior owners destinations solved the problem. Of interest, though, is that l found several threads where people were/are confused as how to turn off the current route guidance. I know I tried what my MB's manual instructed it didn't work nor did the instructions provided in the car's system. It made reference to a menu that didn't exist.
The solution I read in several posts was to just lower (mute) the voice giving the guidance.That of course doesn't solve thew problem. Anyway, to me the simplest solution is to delete the current destination for which guidance is being provided.

There are 2 methods I use (or used to use, but Android Auto with Google Maps has replaced Comand Nav for me):
1) Hit mute when instructions are being given.
2) Voice command: "Guidance Instructions Off".
