A lot depends on where you live. Batteries don't like heat. I live in Fl and after going thru them in 3-4 years, mine get replaced every 3 years. Don't want a call from the wife at the mall due to bad battery.

I live in South Florida and our 2005 Chrysler 300 had the battery in the trunk it lasted 11 years. Our Toyota Avalon also has it in the trunk and it has been 6 years.

I'd say you are quite lucky. But there are other factors in battery life to consider, one of which being usage. Are these cars you mention daily drivers? I had a '67 Vette and the battery lasted 15 years. But I don't think this is what the OP is looking for. A battery that sees little usage will obviously last longer. Starting a car with the subsequent battery recharging is where usage is a major factor on longevity. Just my 2 cents.

Daily drivers indeed The Chrysler had over 150,000 and the Avalon 50,000
