Looking to replace c300 with s550
That one specifically, I’m looking for high mileage and that red interior, I drive about 30000 a year for work so I didn’t want the depreciation or to “ruin” the car. I’d like input on how these cars perform driven that much. I need more power and the mpg isn’t too bad. Im just not seeing any threads on how these are being driven this much. I was gonna get a tune for my c300 but this is a better ride and the c300 isn’t threat great the seats are terrible for me. With luxury suspension as well.
So apart from daily driving, what is the car like on the backroads? Obviously I’d buy a sports car if that’s what I wanted but I can’t daily drive that 30000 a year. The engine in the c300 base is dreadful (2016), and if I’m paying 32000 for the 9 speed and new engine, why not just buy a s550 instead?
as an update I also would like to know if anyone knows why these cars are being sold for thousands less the blue book value

I just traded my C43 amg cabriolet (red top) for a S550 coupe, the C43 seem to have more power (it was tuned) than the S550 (non-tuned).
but over all a great looking and riding car with all the luxurious options available.
Night vision
windshield projector
lane assist
Self parking ect...............
how do you know if it has all the options? to the left of the steering wheel you'll see the strip of buttons which some are missing.in other coupes.

I drove one. A 2025 with 12000miles. It was surprisingly harsh?? I’m buying eventually. But damn what a car. It’s definitely a cool car. Fast comfortable, stable. Upkeep should be similar.

You are going for a huge upgrade. Upkeep is going to be more than the C. But you also get a car! Not some appliance. Trust me the S Coupe is worth it! Backroads? It’s not a 911 or Lotus here. It’s 4,500+ pounds of cruiser so handling isn’t going to be that great. Driving 30,000 miles a year? The upkeep is going to be pretty large.

The harsh is probably due to the runflats or overinflated tires or both? What kind of suspension does it have? I assume it doesn't have MBC?

MPG is about the same not sure, cause my C43 was tuned.
Just the look alone and the head turns you get is self satisfying.
Haven't had to do any maintenance as I only had it for a few months now.
I installed RF22" rims witch gives it a whole new look!
