Paint defect trunk lid
Has anyone else noticed a significant paint defect in the center of the trunk lid? At first I thought it was limited to my car and represented some prior repair but yesterday I parked next to a launch edition C217 and the trunk had the same paint defect as my 2019 S65 coupe.
I suspect it is due to the fact there are hidden antennas there which means the panel is some composite and not metal. If you look at the center of the trunk from just the right angle you can see the base color breaking up.
Did an extensive search and no prior mention I can find? I will see if I can capture it in a photo. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
