2020 S560
2025+ S Class Coupe
I know this is probably not the right place for this, but has anyone seen or heard any rumors about a return of the S Class Coupe? My cousin has two, a 2016 S550 and 2020 S560 and he says he’s heard about a new one on the horizon, but I can’t find anything online.

no, there won't be one. Kind of a stretch but you could consider the new AMG GT although it won't ever be close to an S-Class in terms of ride.

Unfortunately there is not even rumors of a new S coupe out there. They added rear seats to the SL but that does not compare to building a coupe on the S class frame.

Unfortunately the S Coupe died (again) in 2021. The odds of a S Coupe again are slim to none as they did not sell many CL/S Class coupes. Not much demand for a 2 door 4 seat car. Pretty much it’s the CLE or AMG GT. Unfortunately those will never ever be close to any S Coupe. Do not even get me going on the new SL disaster. Unfortunately everyone has a love for SUV and crossovers so manufacturers portfolios have shifted due to the demand

I used to hate SUVs (actually still do) because it is a solution to a problem that never had to exist. People say they can see better in an SUVs, well duh if there weren't any SUVs on the road, seeing further wasn't ever an issue as there weren't SUVs blocking the view.

I do sort of like SUVs due to the easier ingress/egress.

Found some new angles



Looks like they've gone more CL style than S class coupe, the greenhouse is larger than on the C217 and definitely resembles the old CL a bit. Looks freaking huge as well

Ya sadly those proportions doesn't look at all like the C217.
