What is the source of your disappointment? And what source are you listening to?
Replacing speakers is usually the highest-ROI change you can make, but you could try adding an amp or subwoofer if you want to give that a go.

the best option is to get a car with the burmester high end system. its alot better. its a $6500, option #811
Then you dont have to do anything to it. My advice is that you will have to replace the whole system, amps speakers and add speakers.
