Ceramic Pads Recommendation

Ceramic Pads Recommendation
Can anyone recommend some quality ceramic pads for.the C217? The ones I have are intermittently noisy and I'm a little OCD about my vehicles.

I've also confirmed these are indeed carbon fiber ceramic pads. Not sure what the carbon fiber is all about but ceramics definitely don't black your wheels like semi-metallic. Having owned ceramics I can say they to lack the same stopping power as semi-metallic so maybe that's where a ceramic with carbon fiber comes into play.

The Z23 pads are a Carbon-Fiber Ceramic formula that offer great dust-free braking performance. fronts are $59 pr. rears are $50 pr
ebc Red stuff are Ceramic. fronts are $192 pr. rears are $118 pr.
I assume there is a big quality difference.

I’ve used EBC in the past also with there matching rotors. Not on my Mercedes and I’ll tell you was not impressed. They wore out very quickly way dustier and they are expensive. Like I said before have been using Power Stop rotors for years and these Z23 pads are very good so far. Had them on my car for about 5 thousand miles and very happy. You might want to look at Porterfield pad’s I’ve never used them but friends of mine have with good success they can be a little noisy.

Bought my 2015 S550 new and a year later installed Centric ceramic pads in front and Power Stop in the rear. At the time Centric did not make rear pads. Both front and rear are 100% dust free and going strong to this day. Admittedly, I am easy on brake pads, but regardless, I think any major manufacturer’s ceramic pads will be fine.

Huge Z23 fan here. Ran them on the '16 GTS, E550, and S550 no problems no dust no noise. Much better formulation than the OE metallic pads for longevity, dust, and noise, No problems in the cold either. They hold up to putting tons of heat in them too

zero issues no squealing. I’m a huge Akebono fan I use them on all my other cars. I would have used the on this car but Akebono does not make pads for the c217-a217 because there are not enough of these cars produced.

Have used Powerstop Z23s on two cars so far but not my higher performance MB V8s. Quite happy, little to no dust. On my convertible ( Toyota V8), I used to have Akebono ceramics before replacement and the Powerstop Z23s are no worse with less dust.
