Rattle hunting: passenger knee airbag panel - how to address?
C217 coupe. Rattle coming from the airbag trim panel just below the glove compartment door.
The rattle reliably stops when the passenger pushes on either the console end or door end of the panel.
I have tried wedging foam tape in the gaps on those ends to very limited success.
So as to not break the thing, could someone direct me to, or provide, a service manual entry on how I might be able to disassemble the surrounding area, obviously without interfering with the airbag, to try and stop this?
