78 450SEL Euro bumpers

I am about to purchase a 78 450sel in great condition.. Normal things to restore as expected, but it is a california rust free car and the mechanical/electrical systems for the most part past muster.

One thing I have noticed in other threads, is the look of the same car as sold in europe. This one already has euro lights, (they look so much better than the amer. ones), but still has those chunky american bumpers.

Any suggestions from the experts on the best way to make the conversion? No idea even where to get parts, much less euro parts in the US.

Any suggestions at all would be welcomed..

Tanx in advance

If you don't mind me asking. How many miles on it and what was the asking price.
I have a lead on a 78 450SEL with 79k miles and almost perfect. Just haven't finalized a price but somewhere around $5k.
