Just purchased a 1977 280se with 45k miles...seems to be in outstanding condition, although the upholstery may need work. The cover is in excellent condition, but the seats seem soft. I want to keep it as original as possible but Im in new territory here. Any concerns about something as basic as having the pads replaced that might affect the value for the purist?
