Exclamation The heat of the car rises (560SEL V8)

Hello ,



Dear members ,


i have 560 sel car

i have a problem with it .

its temp. is more increase than 90 centigrade.

could you tell me what the causes to do that ?

and i want thing to decrease its temp.

information about my car:

it has one fan only

it has its original radiator .

it has its Throttle Water 65 centigrade open.



Please Help ....

First, check all your hoses. Next, see if the thermostat is bad. From there progress onto the Waterpump, Radiator, and seals.

Does the coolant level stay constant, or is it disappearing (perhaps there is a smell of coolant in exhaust gas)?

Add a secondary fan on the front of the radiator. Or you could get a themostate that open sooner or a heavy duty radiator would help. I had that setup when I had my Bimmer 320i, long before my Benz days. LA traffic was terrible and I was always worried that the radiator wasn't strong enough for the heat.
