hello a new member here.
My wife tells me I have too many cars, and it cost waaaaaay too much to restore them, so I need to sell something, so the 500 sec import has to go. Here is what I have done so far, I sell the car as is with no waranty, make me an offer guys, I am looking at around maybe 1500 to 2000 dollar, yes it's cheap, but even if you like to use the parts from the car to complete the one you have now, well I do not need to tell you on how much OEM parts cost, and everyting what has been done on this car, has been done with oem parts.
Let me know, and send your emails to saywhatnow2@verizon.net
Thanks
Will.
Here we go.
1) Valve job + new timing chain. 2) Rebuilt power steering pump. 3) Rebuilt brake booster. 4) New master brake cylinder. 5) New radiator. 6) New water pump. 7) New clutch fan. 8) All new fan belts with life time warranty. 9) New battery (1 year old)
10) All vacuum hoses have been replaced. 11) New EGR valve. 12) Rebuild idle speed module. 13) New idle speed motor. 14) Rebuild switching unit. 15) New relay overload protection. 16) Rebuild heater / Ac control unit. 17) Transmission replaced.
18) Transmission mount replaced. 19) New motor mounts. 20 The complete front suspension has been replaced. 21 New drive shaft flex plates. 22) New drive shaft carrier bearing. 23) New front wheel bearings inner and outer. 24) New rotor disks front and rear. 25) New brake pads. 26) All new emergency brake parts, including all springs. 27) Rebuild alternator. 28) Rebuild AC compressor (is not charged yet) 29) New 17” rims (1 year old) 30) New front tires 3 months old) 31) Rear seats reupholstered, and 2 new catalyc converters closes this list.
I also have many more parts for the interior and the engine.
Complete dashboard pod with all gauges, servo for climate control, fuel injection assembly, and all computer modules, brake booster, and many more parts.
The parking gear of the transmission is not working; I do however have the new parts to fix that, which is a simple job to do. I also have a leaking right rear drive axel; but I do have the new parts for that as well. If you are a Mercedes lover, then this classic car is not all that hard to get it finished. The car is smogged, and has a new registration tag as from last May.
