Vehicle Description
Beautiful 1985 380SE with everything except CD player (yes, even real leather instead of benz-tech). This was originally a California car and therefor has no rust on the body whatsoever. Most of the parts on the car and in the engine are new, I have all the service records, but the engine needs a new timing chain. Also there is slight damage to the rear passenger side bumper. The car is worth about $5000 (low-ball value for taxes is $4250)and as I have neither the time nor the patience to fix it, thus it is now listed here being sold as is for a starting bid of $600. Transportation of the vehicle is the purchasers own responsibility, although I will try my hardest to arrange something should I be asked.

To replace the timing chain would cost anywhere between $600 to $1000 depending on where you want to take it. Most people would replace the single chain to the double chain before that happened. But then you already knew it needed a timing chain, right? Good luck and too bad it isn't in drivable condition. Otherwise, it's a nice luxury sedan to drive on the highways.
