Thermo time switch
The CSV introduces additional fuel to a cold engine to aid starting and warm the engine faster. Hard starts in cold weather with a cold engine and flooding in a warm engine are two common symptoms of failure.
what if the engine runs WORSE when warm?
I have figured out that my engine runs like a champ when ice cold, but when
I reach 40 degrees I get a little off idle hesitation. I have changed my thermotime
switch. Does this mean that the CSV is at fault? Is it simply 'on' (more fuel=more power) or
'off' or are there variable levels of operation?
Also, can I bypass the CSV so I get max fuel all the time?
