for those who aren't aware of the calendar polls, vote for my ride... it's the ONLY S-class submitted amongst all the other cars:

Well, the way the voting was laid out, I was able to vote for both of you, and I don't even live in Chicago.

Why did they even allow them in the competition I really don't think that everyone on the forum has C Class's guys.

Don't be a sore loser. LorinserCClass won by pure merit. Anybody can fork over a few bucks for a lease on a S class... but to mod a car tastefully to the point where it stands out amongst the "dime-a-dozen" Mercedes, and even higher class ones... that's merit right there.

i never said anything about being a "sore loser"... nobody ever said anything about LorinserCClass not deserving merit (he's got a kick-*** ride, no doubt)... the "dime-a-dozen" comment was based on pure observation everywhere in LA (and everywhere else for that matter)... as it is, S-class & C-class cars are two different animals - regardless of what year it was released.

tastefully modified objects in the midst of mediocrity/abundance is always a good thing.

as for the calendar, this is the first and successful attempt in doing something for the M-B community - which is a great thing... and I'm sure they've learned alot from it, this will no doubt give BENZgal and the admins an idea as to expanding on this for next year.

drakon's comment was "most of the posters here...." not all... you have a tight ride and well-done ... I think I have to make that very clear so that others won't misconstrue my/drakons' comments.

everyone on this forum are M-B fanatics... I don't think anyone is here to bash one another... so let's enjoy the presence and service this site has to offer. Actually, this paragraph is directed towards "oggle".

The bashing started when some people started crapping on C classes. What if someone had said something like:

actually my car is too, but most of the posters here only drive old discontinued models.........................................

yeah... they're a dime-a-dozen - sorta like other used cars... everyone and their relatives has one.
People can read between the lines.

I made myself clear on props to LorinserCclass' car... if that's not good enough for you, then ignore this post.
