Hi guys, today I puled the little switch by the side of the steering wheel to bring the steering forward so that i can take out the dashboard and clean the inside (lights were dim)

The thing is that after cleaning and putting it back (the dashboard)when I try to push the steering back down it wont move. Its as though there is no response, no sound at all.

How do I move the steering back down I only unplugged the wires from the back of the dash and nothing else, could it be that the motor has suddenly blown just like that, or a plug came loose but how and where is it? I checked below (opened up the portion below the drivers area) and all the wires were intact.

Is there a manual way to adjust the steering back down, as its really hard to drive with the steering back all the way.

ok finally Im back, from a long needed vacation...

I just checked my steering and I found out its the motor that has some problems...

when I pull it up (to make steering go up) it makes a sound but cant come up anymore as its already at its max. but when I push it down (to make steering go down) it does not even make a sound...

does it mean that the motor is spoilt or just that its stuck?

is there a manual wrench or something to push it down manually?

anone selling a steering motor?
