1991 350 SD
I am having some problems

with my 91 350SD. I recently had the transmosion worked on because it was not holding the gears, the pump was replaced and that corrected the problem. Now it is taking long to shift from first to second. The RPM's go all the way up to 3500 before it shifts and when it shifts it skips right on past second gear and into third with a jerk. If I shift it into neutral and back into drive at about 2000 RPM then it shifts into second gear and works perfectly from there, shifting the other gears just fine. Can anyone help me with this issue.

It has to do with the vaccum module i think. YOu just need to adjusted it. I'll look for the site for you. But you should ahve your mechanic set it up right since he worked on it....

Try that, and also play with your cable linkage that hooks up to the tranny. The cable, you can see it, its right behind the air box, that will also ajust your trany shift points. I change it once in awhile.
