1989 560sec AMG 6.0
door lock HELP door is stuck open
so today i screw up my locking mechanism. i am like a todler when it comes to tinkering with things. so my dumb self moves the locking mechanism to the locked position while the door is still open. so the hook is up and wont go back down. perhaps someone might have a solution to my dilema(other than bring it to a mercedes specialist). help me PLEASE!!!

have you tried key in door and manipulating the latch again back to open position?
