Stranded in Edmonton with Electrical problem

A call for help to the electrical gurus of the board.

I am now about 2500 miles from home with a 82 380 SEC that has decided to give me a little trouble shooting exercise.

The power windows suddenly stopped working. No noise at all from any switches. Fuses all OK.

At least they were up when the failure occured.

When it started raining, I turned on the wipers and they had also stopped working. No action from any of the positions.

I noticed later that the driver's power seat also stopped working.

Related probelm???? All fuses appear OK. As it was raining, I did not remove and clean, but see that for ALL these accessories to quit, many fuses are involved.

What about a main cable to the console? Circuit breaker? Relay?

Sun roof works. Radio works. Engine seems fine. Other interior items OK.

I am without my disk set of skematics, holed up in a Starbucks and hope to get some input from the forum so I can venture back the the USA!

It was a fuse

After finding a dry place to thoroughly check the fuses, I found #7 to be the culprit.

The end was bad. From the fiirst quick look all appeared OK, but I had to pull the fuse to see the end was no longer making good contact.

Thsi fuse feeds the 86 pin on the window relay.
