water pump 84 380se
OK - The new water pump arrived today. I am going to dig into it tomorrow.
Anyone have any tips that might help me from scratching my head excessively?
How much stuff - besides the waterpump itself - will have to come off?
Hopefully very little.

I've got the 4 easiest bolts off. I think I can get 2 more off. 1 under the hose manifold and 1 behind the distributor (if I remove the distributor hold down bolt.
The last bolt, behind the harmonic balancer, appears impossible. Do I need to remove the harmonic balancer? Is there a creative way to get the bolt out. Even If I do, will the pump clear the balancer?
