What do I need to known when buying a 89~91 560SEC?
What do I need to known and what out for when buying a 89~91 560SEC? Is it still as realiable as I believe them to be? Not sure why but the Pre-91 S class still is my favorite, never really get use to the new Mercedes styling. Now I really need to get a spare care, I feel this is the best time then ever to get one for back up.

1st buy with your eye on maintainence. These cars are very much bullet proof if they were maintained. If not they can get expensive.
Go to www.mbcoupes.com there is a ton of info on that web site for 126's and the coupe especially.
I have a 84(384k and never had the heads off) and a 91(50k) SEC, and a 89(42k) 420SEL. All have had good maintainence history and knock on wood are great cars.
