a/c woes

my ac blows hot
is there a way to check the relay?
when i bypass the clutch with 12 the ac comes on.
please help an noob in need
this is what she looks like

at the wire to the a/c clutch is a current. but it's no more than 5 volts
the switch at the dryer has 12v on both sides (going in anc coming out)

DUDE... i love ur wheels man....
i aint an expert at all... but sometimes i press the switch that chooses between heating and cooling for the ac, and if its in the center position, neither the red light for heating nor cooling is lit... and its like outside air coming in ... i think... ok the point is make sure the switch is pushed to the cooling mode... somehow for me ive seen it goes into the center position ...probably loose or something... gud luk

You likely do not have enough refrigerant in the system. When your refrigerant pressure drops below about 10 psi. When you by-pass the low pressure switich (on the receiver dryer with the little view window) and the clutch engages then a slow leak is probably it.
