Thanks for the information. You did an excellent job documenting your work. It did help me get the pins out and get a feel for replacing the guides. I only wish that it all would have paid off in the end for me with a running car. I never realized about the chain guide issue with these cars until it was too late.
Now someone needs to buy this thing before I leave for Cali.
On a side note..has anyone heard of a kit out there that converts the 126 diesels into vegie oil fuel powered? I have gotten some people who wanted my car only if it was diesel so they could convert it. Of course, none of these people would have asked me if it were a diesel if they knew anything about the 126.
