1988 mercedes 300sel
center console
I have an 1988 300SEL. Going to remove the center console and the radio and replace some dash lights. Any tips on removing the console or radio. The car was given to me with 170,000 and runs great. Not sure if the radio even works, it has the anti-theft but I don't think it even has power to it. brian

The radio is not a coded unit. Most likely it is a be0754 model. I think that is th enumber.
If you search the archives at www.mbcoupes.com you will find all you need to remove the radio console and ashtray assemnly.
