1987 300SDL performance questions

What aftermarket companies supply performance engine parts for the inline 6? I am interested in utlizing a larger turbo and would like a tubular exhuast manifold and an intake manifold that redirects the charge tube inlet location. I would like to use an external wastegate and a air to air cooler. Any suggestions for internal work or known problems with the engine when under increased psi would be greatly appretiacted.

The engine will be run on b20/b99

This build will me documented on a Los Angeles based television production.. experts wanted!

thank you.

Check http://www.mosselmanturbo.com under intercoolers. There is a kit that says it is for the W124 300D Turbo. This is the same OM603A engine that is in the W126, I cannot see any reason it would be different except for the mounting hardware (if that).

How much power are you trying to extract from this engine? The intercooler kit alone will give about 180 and a lot of torque. The exhaust is probably the last thing you have to worry about as it is a very low resteriction setup from the factory.
