So I'm driving along and I see a 500sel parked right near the gate in a towyard, I pull over and get the phone number. A few days later I call and they invite me to come see it. They explain that it has been there long enough for me to pick some parts. I want the '86 and up 'side panels' you know the ones that aren't ribbed. and a few other knicks and knacks...So first he explains how hard they are to take off, although he's never done it... he's heard. Then he asks the boss. how about $400 for the 8 pieces. Now I guess the dealer would be much higher than that but for a car that is all burned up (looked like a head-on) the whole front end up to the windshield was toast, but from the dash back was beautiful!!) I would think you would work with a feller. Anyway, I'm not calling back. what do you guys think?
