miss fire... copper colour deposit in injector?? k-jet problem??

miss fire... copper colour deposit in injector?? k-jet problem??
hi everyone...

i have an idle and low rev miss on my 1984 500 sec.

all ignition new so must be fueling...

have new injectors to put in...

took first one out today and there was a copper colour deposit of little grains, i think i read somewhere that the valves in the fuel distributor/k-jetronic system are made of copper!!

does this suggest that there is a problem with the fuel distributor/k-jetronic system??

has anyone heard of this before??
