Hey you guys and gals,
I have a 1991 420sel and my driver fog light has been out for a while so I finally went to AutoZone to get a new bulb. I looked at the housing and I am completely lost as how to take out the old bulb and put in the new one. I know I’m not just replacing the bulb it self but the bulb and its housing and cable?? as you can tell I’m lost so please help w126ers.
Thanx and happy holidays,

Its just a bulb change - look at the rear of the fog and there is a pair of horizontal tabs right near the top of a flat bit of plastic about 4 or 5" long and maybe 2" wide, just under the metal shelf that holds the radiator. Squeeze those gently together (as the plastic may be brittle) and pull towards the engine and the panel will open, revealing the bulb - change it, replace the panel by hooking it at its bottom and pressing the top til it 'clicks' and you are done.
