Which Tire Pressure?
Help settle an argument.
I use 32psi in my standard 205/65 15 Toyo Spectrums in my 300SE. A friend, and M-B enthusiast, said that I should stick to the M-B recommended 26psi.
The tires just don't look right at the lower psi. Ride quality is just fine at 32psi.
Any opinions?

You will get as many answers as people. I run 35 myself. It does not really matter. Less pressure a softer ride but more wear. More pressure will be a harder ride but less wear. Then too soft is dangerous and too hard is dangerous. Anything in between is up to you.https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Stick to the pressures indicated on the inside of the fuel filler cap or in the car's handbook. Departing from manufacturer's specifications on a safety-critical component seems to me to be unwise. The appearance doesn't seem relevant.
26 psi is not what is specified for my 300SE.
