Can someone tell me the part number for the O-Ring on the bottom of a 380SE Fuel dist
I am re-installing my fuel distributor on my 85 380/SE and the O-Ring on the bottom of it is torn.
I ordered a new one from the local dealer,...but the profile looks too small. It does not fill the groove that it sits in completely, whereas the old one does.
The Dealer got me part number A 004 997 07 48.
Can anyone verify if this is the correct part number?
Is it possible that the original O-ring may have been superceded with a smaller profile O-Ring?
